In the context of the EU funded SAFEMED IV project, EMSA hosted the Training on Ship Security on 13-14 November 2018. Overall, 14 participants from Algeria, Egypt Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, and Tunisia have successfully completed the 16 hours course.

The training covered various aspects of International and European maritime legislation on maritime security and it included a series of practical exercises.
