What kind of information is shared in CISE?

CISE enables the sharing of all types of maritime information, also information used both by the civil and military organisations. The actual information exchanged depends on what information CISE participants will offer.

The information in CISE must be represented and formatted according to the standard defined in the CISE Data Model. This ensures that all the surveillance systems can process and understand the information exchanged by the others. The CISE Data Model supports the sharing of all types of maritime information with a level of detail that is useful for most maritime authorities.
