How is the exchange of information through CISE regulated?
Operational exchange of information between the connected authorities is regulated by the “Cooperation Agreement”. The Cooperation Agreement defines the terms of use of CISE and the rules to be followed for the sharing of information within the CISE Network. Such rules guarantee that data exchanged through CISE is duly protected, kept confidential and is reliable.
The “Cooperation Agreement” shall be signed by all the CISE participants willing to exchange data (provide and consume) through CISE. Adhering to the CA is therefore a pre-condition to be able to start exchanging information through CISE.
