French minister for Europe and Foreign affairs Jean-Yves Le Drian visits EMSA

Today we welcomed French minister for Europe and Foreign affairs Jean-Yves Le Drian for an interesting exchange of views. We presented and discussed the tasks of EMSA in support of MS and how we contribute to a safe secure and sustainable maritime transport. In addition, the role of EMSA in supporting Coast guard functions as well as the set of operational services provided by the Agency were presented to our honourable guest.

The visit included a demonstration of our new Virtual Reality environment which allows users to interact as if they were on board a vessel.
