lang enMaritime transport has a major impact on the life of society, whether it's transporting people for work or leisure, or transporting essential goods. With so much movement on our seas and oceans the fuel, noise and waste caused by people and boats/ships endanger the survival of fish, animals, and plants.

With an eye to the future and the sustainability of the oceans, we designed a silent, solar-powered boat that, while carrying goods and passengers, simultaneously cleans up the rubbish in the oceans.

The blue flag symbolises that this boat is ocean-friendly. The replica built will be placed in the playground as a symbol of what our school and students stand for: the future of our oceans, displaying the plastic collected by everyone every day.
