FuelEU Maritime monitoring plans in THETIS-MRV

On 1 August EMSA deployed a new version of THETIS-MRV including a first set of functionalities supporting the implementation of the FuelEU Regulation in the platform. ~

These changes allow shipping companies to associate ships under their fleet with a verifier accredited for FuelEU and ultimately submit the FuelEU Monitoring Plans associated to the ships under their fleet, among other actions.Thetis MRV computerWithin the first initial weeks of deployment more than 80% (10,000) of the ships within scope were “FuelEU” allocated and FuelEU Monitoring Plans due were created in the database. 

During this period, EMSA has been assisting the shipping community with a series of dedicated webinars hosted with DG MOVE in the European Commission, updated THETIS-MRV tutorials, and specialist helpdesk support interventions.
