These processes are revised and updated, as necessary, whenever changes occur in the system. When defining the processes, each PRO shall determine and secure the resources needed for the establishment, implementation, maintenance and continual improvement of the QMS. This should include the necessary knowledge and competences for the successful performance of the process.

The effective implementation of each process is monitored through quality records and KPIs as defined within each PS. For the ICT-based maritime information services, the availability of the service is a critical requirement, and this is measured and monitored by dedicated ICT tools developed for each ICT-based service.

In addition, regular internal audits and management reviews will ensure that identified nonconformities and/or audit findings are properly addressed, and necessary actions are taken for the continual improvement of the system.
