Who can use the CleanSeaNet service?

The service is available to all EU Member States, European Free Trade Association (EFTA)/European Economic Area (EEA) Member States, Acceding and Candidate Countries. Currently 28 coastal States use the CleanSeaNet service directly, and it is also provided on a project-based basis to European Neighbourhood countries under the SAFEMED IV and Black and Caspian Sea Projects. The service is integrated into national and regional pollution response arrangements, so operational users are the National Authorities responsible for at sea oil pollution monitoring and operational planning, preparedness and response, such as maritime authorities and coastguard and naval services use.
