What oil spill response systems do EMSA vessels have on board?

EMSA vessels are equipped with state-of-the-art oil spill response equipment. All vessels are equipped with two systems for mechanical recovery: 1) sweeping arms, and 2) boom and skimmer, supported by oil slick detection radar. Additionally, other techniques (i.e. dispersant application) are being considered for some of the EMSA vessels.
