Does EMSA possess any information with regard to dispersant use?

Under the framework of the Consultative Technical Group for Marine Pollution Preparedness and Response CCTG MPPR) EMSA established the Technical Correspondence Group on Dispersants (TCG Dispersants) in June 2012. Members of the group are Member States' experts in the field of dispersants. The objective of the TCG Dispersants is to compile a list of, and review, documents related to the use of dispersants during the Macondo (Deepwater Horizon) oil spill response, and to appraise the existing scientific and operational aspects of dispersant testing procedures in the
European Union.

Furthermore, EMSA has developed a 'Manual on the Applicability of Oil Spill Dispersants'.
