2023: Our people and our administration
Our journey towards becoming a fully sustainable administration continued in 2023 as we reduced energy consumption in our building in line with our EMAS registration.
And we welcomed more than five thousand people to our EMSA events, workshops, and seminars, both online and here in Lisbon.
At governance level, 2023 saw us welcome a new Chair and Deputy Chair of our Administrative Board, and a new Chair of our Administrative and Finance Committee.
2023 was also the year in which our coastguard cooperation intensified, with our first ever Multipurpose Maritime Operation and our chairing of the Tripartite Working Arrangement.
